Alarm raised over treaty provision to ban activity

            President Obama, who supported the handgun ban in Washington, D.C., before it was tossed by the Supreme Court, since his election has watched various proposals to ban “assault” weapons, require handgun owners to submit to mental health evaluations and sparked a rush on ammunition purchases that caused some retailers to name him their salesman of the year. Now he apparently is going after citzens who reload their ammunition.

            It was during an official visit earlier this month to Mexico that he affirmed his support for a proposed international treaty that addresses “firearms trafficking.”

            According to a blogger who follows the issue, the treaty was adopted by President Clinton years ago but never ratified by the U.S. Senate, a goal Obama now has adopted.

            The answer is finally here to the real reason why guns and church must mix!

            The writer, B.A. Lawson, says, “If you reload your own ammo you may find yourself engaged in ‘Illicit Manufacturing’ of ammunition under an arms control treaty that President Obama started pushing last week in Mexico.”

            “Virtually everyone who supports the 2nd Amendment or has an interest in firearms has heard the numerous recent reports of ammunition shortages. The shortages have extended to reloading supplies that many folks rely on to keep their shooting costs down or to assemble exotic or hard to find ammunition. Many shooters have considered reloading their own ammo as insurance against limited supplies should legislation be enacted that would make ammo more scarce or dramatically more expensive,” the blogger continued.

            “Those thoughts may be in vain if the current administration is successful in getting the ‘INTER-AMERICAN CONVENTION AGAINST THE ILLICIT MANUFACTURING OF AND TRAFFICKING IN FIREARMS, AMMUNITION, EXPLOSIVES, AND OTHER RELATED MATERIALS’ treaty passed.”

            The treaty defines “illicit manufacturing” as “the manufacture or assembly of firearms, ammunition, explosives, and other related materials.”

            It then gives authority for that activity only with “a license from a competent governmental authority of the State Party where the manufacture or assembly takes place.”

            “The section … clearly identifies ammo reloaders that are not licensed by the government as ‘Illicit Manufacturers’ of ammunition. Now that we have reloaders properly labeled, lets move down to Article IV to see what we should do with them,” the commentary said.

            He then quotes Article IV, which states, “State Parties that have not yet done so shall adopt the necessary legislative or other measures to establish as criminal offenses under their domestic law the illicit manufacturing of and trafficking in firearms, ammunition, explosives, and other related materials.”

            “This is pretty straightforward. If you reload ammunition without a license after the treaty is signed you will be a criminal,” Lawson wrote.

            The National Rifle Association said the treaty “does include language suggesting that it is not intended to restrict ‘lawful ownership and use’ of firearms. Despite those words, the NRA knows that anti-gun advocates will still try to use this treaty to attack gun ownership in the U.S.”

The treaty is available online.

At the SnowflakesinHell blog, the writer said there’s no mistaking the language.

Even accessories “which can be attached to a firearm” are targeted.

    “It would presumably also ban home manufacture of these items without a government license. Do you own trigger jobs? Reload your own ammunition? Not any more, not without a government license!”

The Examiner.com said such international gun restrictions are unacceptable.

John Velleco, director of federal affairs for Gun Owners of America, notes the benefits for Obama of having such rules in treaties, not legislation.

    “If ratified and the U.S. is found not to be in compliance with any provisions of the treaty – such as a provision that would outlaw reloading ammunition without a government license – President Obama would be empowered to implement regulations without congressional approval,” he wrote.

    “If the kind of ‘change’ that Obama wants is for the United States to take its marching orders from third world countries regarding our gun rights, we’re in big trouble!”

Hegel’s Theory In Motion Once Again

April 19, 2009 – I am almost certain that a good number of people are under the impression that I am some sort of conspiracy nut, akin to the character played by Mel Gibson in the movie entitled, Conspiracy Theory.
                While many of the subjects I discuss may sound far fetched, so did those who proposed that man would one day fly, or walk on the moon. So, only time will tell who is right when it comes to my so called conspiracies.
                However, there is something I would like for everyone to consider, and it is extremely important that you do so. In asking this of each of you, I am asking that you put aside your personal political beliefs, and just consider the facts. In short, I am asking you to think on your own, if only for a few minutes.
                In an interview, Rahm Emanuel, the current White House Chief of Staff was quoted as saying, “You never want a serious crisis to go to waste, and what I mean by that is an opportunity to do things that you didn’t think you could do before.”
                Pause a moment to think about what exactly he said. Why would our government need a crisis, of any kind, to do something, unless what they wanted to do would be considered questionable prior to the crisis?
                I would guess that not too many people have heard of the Hegelian Principle. The Hegelian Principle, or dialectic as it is often called, is a system designed to guide our thoughts and actions and lead us towards a predetermined solution.
                For example, to get something accomplished a person, or a group, might initiate a crisis, or conflict, which, under Hegel’s theory is known as the thesis. Then an antithesis is created, which is opposition to the conflict. Synthesis occurs when a predetermined solution is offered, which would have been utterly rejected had not a crisis arisen in the first place.
                History is replete with examples of Hegel’s principle in action. Hitler’s rise to power is a perfect example of the use of the Hegelian Principle. Hitler had no intention of abiding by the guidelines of the democracy that put him into power as Chancellor. However he had no support for his quest for absolute power.
                So, the Nazi’s led by Joseph Goebbels, one of Hitler’s henchmen, carried out a plan to burn down the building where elected officials met, the Reichstag. Hitler blames the fire on the Communists, proclaiming that the threat to Germany posed by the Communists was so severe that only by an emergency decree, granting him absolute power, could the crisis be averted.
                The crisis is averted, as there was no real crisis to begin with, and Hitler has the power to restrict personal liberty, freedom of the press, the rights of assembly, becoming the absolute ruler he intended from the beginning.
                Although Hegel’s dialect may not be well known amongst the average American, it is well understood, and used by those in positions of authority.
                Take for instance the perfect example of Hegel’s theory, put into words by former Secretary of State, Henry Kissinger, “Today Americans would be outraged if U.N. troops entered Los Angeles to restore order; tomorrow they will be grateful. This is especially true if they were told there was an outside threat from beyond, whether real or promulgated, that threatened our very existence. It is then that all peoples of the world will plead with world leaders to deliver them from this evil. The one thing every man fears is the unknown. When presented with this scenario, individual rights will be willingly relinquished for the guarantee of their well being granted to them by their world government.”
                That is why I asked you to pay very close attention to what Rahm Emanuel said. Hegel’s theory is still in use, and it is being used more and more frequently to achieve goals that otherwise would have been deemed completely unacceptable by the people of this country.
                Now, according to the major news agencies, our country is facing yet another “crisis.” The networks have been reporting that people with hostile intentions towards the United States are capable of wrecking havoc on our nation’s power grid by hacking into the computers that control it.
                Not that the complete collapse of our nations power grid is something I look forward to, but from what I understand, that theory just doesn’t hold water. From what I understand, our power grid is not controlled via the internet, as we are being told. Instead, it is operated on an independent system, an intranet, if you will, that is not only more secure, but isolated from the same internet you and I use on a daily basis.
                Yet the seeds of fear have been planted, the first step of Hegel’s principle put into play.
                Now, could it be a coincidence that these stories began making news just about the time that two new laws are being considered in the U.S. Senate? S 773 and S 778, if passed, would grant would create an administration position to watch over internet security and would even grant the President the power to shut down the internet in the event of a so-called crisis? Something sounds awful fishy about this to me.
                If we follow Hegel’s logic, there has to be a reason for a desired goal, in this case the control of the internet. I can only conclude that those in power fear the internet because it is the last vestige of truth in journalism available to the American people.
                The general media are all flunkies, whose strings are pulled by those in places of such high power that their names are never mentioned in general conversation. However, the internet is still a free domain, where anyone with the desire, can blog and spread the truth, and these people fear the truth more than anything else in the world.
                That is why those of us who speak out against the actions of our government are labeled conspiracy nuts. That is why the network media moguls ridicule us, as did Ted Koppel, when he said, “People shouldn‘t expect the mass media to do investigative stories. That job belongs to the ‘fringe‘ media.”
                The news that we get on our TV’s has been scrubbed, sanitized, and made consumer friendly to keep us uninformed, and hopelessly clueless as to what is really happening in this country.
                Sometime in 1880, John Swinton, a New York journalist, was the guest of honor at a banquet given on his behalf. During the event, someone made a toast to the independent press, to which Swinton replied,

“There is no such thing, at this date of the world’s history, in America, as an independent press. You know it and I know it. There is not one of you who dares to write your honest opinions, and if you did, you know beforehand that it would never appear in print. I am paid weekly for keeping my honest opinion out of the paper I am connected with. Others of you are paid similar salaries for similar things, and any of you who would be so foolish as to write honest opinions would be out on the streets looking for another job. If I allowed my honest opinions to appear in one issue of my paper, before twenty-four hours my occupation would be gone.

The business of the journalists is to destroy the truth, to lie outright, to pervert, to vilify, to fawn at the feet of mammon, and to sell his country and his race for his daily bread. You know it and I know it, and what folly is this toasting an independent press?”

                So, if you still believe that you are getting the truth when you read the paper, or watch the nightly news, (and yes that includes FOX), then I can only say that you are willingly accepting the lies being told to you, and that makes you as ignorant and uninformed as if you had been sealed in a cave for the past 20 years.
                As you all know, I am relentless in my efforts to inform you as to how your rights and your liberty are under attack by the very government established to secure them. The freedom of the press has long since gone by the wayside when the media sold their souls to the devil. However, now the last remaining place where people can find the truth, the internet, is under attack. If it goes, there will be no place left for Americans to seek out information concerning what is really happening in this country.
                Once that happens, the people of this country will have no choice but to either believe whatever lies and propaganda they are spoon fed by the media, or they can stand up and fight any further assumptions of power by their government. It is that serious folks. As George Washington once said, “If the freedom of speech is taken away then dumb and silent we may be led, like sheep to the slaughter.”
                Live your life in such a way that when your feet hit the floor in the morning,
Satan shudders and says “OH SHIT!!…. HE’S AWAKE!!”

            My name is Edgar J. Steele. 

            Call me naive.  Lots of people do. 

            After all, immediately after 9-11, I wanted to believe that it was Arabs who did the deed and it took me a whole week to notice the overwhelming evidence to the contrary. 

            And, once Barack Obama was elected, I called for us to come together in support of America’s new president.  I never imagined that anybody could be worse than George W. Bush.  It begins to appear that I may have been wrong about that, too.

            I want to like Obama.  In fact, I still do … personally.  After all, he is just so … likeable.  Problem is, things are happening on his watch that continue to fracture America and, in fact, seem to be accelerating her plunge into the political, social and economic abyss.

            Give him his due.  Obama seems to have settled things down with countries like Iran, Cuba and Venezuela.  However, that merely has thrown Israel into a frenzy.  Ultimately, America seems to dance to the same tune that Israel already knows so well.  Not that Israel controls America, mind you, but the same shadowy cartel that controls Israel does control America (can you say Council on Foreign Relations, boys and girls?).

Change?  WWIII is Change, After All 

            When (not if) Israel attacks Iran, the response will be guaranteed to draw in America, as well.  That, in turn, will draw in Russia and, likely, China.  So, even Obama’s foreign-relations rapprochements seem to be drawing us ever closer to WWIII.

            Domestically, things aren’t really much better.  There is a superficial sheen of action on Obama’s part, but the reality becomes graver every day.  Sure, he released those government memos showing that torture was authorized at the highest levels of the Bush administration, but that has served to ignite nothing but criticism.  Disclosure means that we have tipped our hand and can no longer employ those techniques because our “enemies” now will be prepared, say the critics. 

            I have yet to hear anybody say that our forbidding torture actually is a good thing.  I have yet to hear any real condemnation from officials or the media of the fact that America actually tortured people.  That is just how far our country has come from the days of George Washington, who forbade injuring any prisoners because such conduct by his soldiers would “bring shame, disgrace and ruin to themselves and their country.”  And so it has.  So it has.  Deservedly so, as well.  After all, what have you or I done to bring an end to this shameful practice on behalf of America?

            And one guy was water boarded nearly 200 times.  200.  Think about it.     You’d think that just a single experience of thinking he was going to drown would have been enough to elicit anything useful he might have had to say.  200 times shows that water boarding was being used to mete out punishment of someone who never had been allowed a defense to any charges.  I don’t hear any criticism of that fact, folks.  Makes you proud to be an American, doesn’t it?

            And the bailouts.  Oh, the bailouts.  Talk about throwing gasoline on a fire!  So we have a problem caused by the creation of money far in excess of the production of goods and services to support it?  And we hope to solve it by doing what?  Creating even more money, of course.  And not just a little bit, either.  So much more new money that the word trillion now has gone into our lexicon, just as the word billion went in a few years ago after being an inconceivable concept.  How long before we start talking about quadrillions of dollars, do you suppose? 

            And just who do you suppose is in charge of deciding who gets what bailouts?  Why, the same guys that got us into trouble in the first place, of course.  That’s why the banks and financial fat cats all are being made whole and we are being sold down the river to finance their bailouts.  No, Mr. Obama is not making things better economically – in fact, history will show that he made them infinitely worse.

            People seem to be waking up to the fact that Obama, who never before managed anything so substantial as a fast-food restaurant during his lifetime, just might be in over his head and relying upon the wrong people for advice.  That’s why his poll numbers are taking a nosedive during what still should be his presidency’s honeymoon period.

            Even so, I still kind of like the guy.  He just seems so naive, is the problem.  He is allowing others to dictate policy, both foreign and domestic, and they are the same old clique (all together now:  Council on Foreign Relations).  That’s why the Obama administration actually looks a lot like the Bush administration, folks.

            Obama has announced his clear intent to legalize the illegal aliens now in America.  Similarly, Obama shows a clear disregard for policing our southern border.

            Obama has usurped the upcoming census and placed it under the control of ACORN, the private association of hired guns proven to have committed so much election fraud during the past two elections.  Guess what is about to happen to the reported demographics that determine electoral districts and representatives – not that it will make any difference, that is?

            In a very recent appellate court hearing (Jewel v. NSA), Obama’s Justice Department lawyers actually argued for even greater immunity in conducting warrantless wiretapping of Americans than did Bush’s!  As a candidate for the Presidency, Obama decried the use of what is known as the “state secrets” privilege by the Bush administration.  Yet, as President, Obama now argues for its unprecedented extension, so as to provide unlimited immunity to the government for spying on all of us.

            The only reason that congress is not moving forward with Obama’s expressed desire to confiscate our guns is the fact that his election created such a boom in gun and ammunition sales that many stores post a picture of President Obama with the legend “Salesman of the Year” beneath it.  And just try to go buy ammunition these days.

Ozzie & Harriet: Domestic Terrorists

            The Department of Homeland Security, in a report that Obama has refused to disavow, has identified the vast majority of Americans as potential domestic terrorists.  Returning military veterans are a danger because of their training, not to mention the fact that they become disaffected by being mistreated by the very government that sent them overseas to fight and die.  Good enough to carry a gun and kill Arabs for Israel, but too dangerous to own a gun now that they have returned home. 

            Opposed to illegal immigration?  You are a potential terrorist, says DHS.

            Opposed to gun confiscation?  Yep, you are a potential terrorist, too.

            Unemployed?  Can’t get credit?  Look out, because you could be a terrorist.

            Know anybody who expresses dissatisfaction with our federal government?  DHS would like you to report those individuals immediately to both itself and the FBI because they could be terrorists.

The U.S. vs. us

            Did you attend one of the thousands of “TEA parties” held throughout America recently?  The FBI and DHS likely photographed you and recorded your license plate number because you are a prime suspect of being a domestic terrorist.  What’s more, agents of the FBI and DHS followed orders in covertly gathering this data about attendees, particularly keeping their presence secret from state and local authorities.

            Seriously, now – does it sound as though Obama is changing anything for the better?  Could things get any worse, do you suppose?  In a word – yes.  Hold on, because they sure aren’t going to get better for a long, long time.

            I’ve just received word that this Spring’s record late freeze has destroyed approximately 75% of Oklahoma’s 2009 wheat crop.  This is a deadly serious fact, folks, one that has been repeated not only across all of America, but also throughout the Northern Hemisphere’s entire grain belt.  I’m sure that the total damage already has been estimated by government officials, but don’t expect to hear the figures anytime soon.  The implications are enormous.  While I already had been predicting food riots for next year, the current wheat crop failures absolutely guarantee that they will take place.

Obama: Chains You Can Believe In

            Get ready for martial law, folks.  I predict that we will see it enacted sometime next year, if not as early as this coming Fall.

            Get ready for serious food shortages.  The climate change responsible for one of the worst winters on record in America is continuing and seems to support an inference that we are entering a “mini ice age” such as that endured during the Middle Ages.

            Get ready for rioting in the streets of our cities.

            Get ready for gun confiscation.

            And all you potential domestic terrorists?  Get ready to be arrested and held indefinitely without charges.  With luck, we may avoid water boarding, but that is about the best for which we can hope.

            Martial law means no transportation, no Internet, no cell phones, no freedom of any sort.  Complete lockdown.  Possibly in the company of a new “9-11″ in the form of the disease pandemic that Dick Cheney so often has promised us.  Already, mass media is so controlled that we likely will see no change in TV or the few newspapers that anybody bothers to read these days.

          You think things are bad right now?  You ain’t seen nothing yet.

                Recently the Rocky Mountain News went out of business after 150 years in the publishing business. I have been doing that for only 25 years.

                Since my “Accident” I have been trying to put something back together in the traditional way I have always done it, successfully.  I created the concept for a magazine. Printed an issue, passed it out, gave it away, used it to sell subscriptions. With that readership base, I went out and sold advertising. Not just advertising for anyone but for people or products or services that I thought were of value to my readers. How can we do something different? make a donation

                As the product of my work was not along the “Approved” version of the news you are fed through mainstream, banker and N.W.O.  Organizations, I was demonized and denied distribution in Barnes and Noble. My potential business partners and advertisers were attacked, threatened and intimidated into backing out of doing business with me. They used people in the Patriot Movement against me by putting pressure on them NOT TO TALK TO ME and not support me. The same type of demonization displayed toward average Americans who have listened to me and my information. It takes a massive amount of people who write, assemble and dispense the propaganda that passes for news.                 Recently the Rocky Mountain News went out of business after 150 years in the publishing business. I have been doing that for only 25 years.

                Since my “Accident” I have been trying to put something back together in the traditional way I have always done it, successfully.  I created the concept for a magazine. Printed an issue, passed it out, gave it away, used it to sell subscriptions. With that readership base, I went out and sold advertising. Not just advertising for anyone but for people or products or services that I thought were of value to my readers. How can we do something different? make a donation

                As the product of my work was not along the “Approved” version of the news you are fed through mainstream, banker and N.W.O.  Organizations, I was demonized and denied distribution in Barnes and Noble. My potential business partners and advertisers were attacked, threatened and intimidated into backing out of doing business with me. They used people in the Patriot Movement against me by putting pressure on them NOT TO TALK TO ME and not support me. The same type of demonization displayed toward average Americans who have listened to me and my information. These reports, The MIAC Report from Missouri and the latest from Homeland Security are painting anyone who listens to me as Right Wing Extremists.
